Our Mother

There was something to see today
The wind came out to play
The trees did talk in their code
Seems Earth was in her mode
To love honor and charish
So that she will not parish
I vow to the Earth mother
For me their can be no other
She calls for each of our strength
And we should stop at no length
To many wars, scarring her soul
Leaving everywhere giant holes
People its time that we must see
We must let others truly be
Not to judge, but to really care
Not to strike, but to be fair
The mother has spoken we abide
Without her theres nowhere to hide
Author's Notes: I have always written from my heart, and today in the sun, with the wind blowing, the clouds rolling in, there was much saddness in the Earth. To sense pain, seems to be my gift, we must listen and join together, the healing must begin.
