Do Not Divide
by Lady Aldera

Things that are evil, scream in the darkest of night
Things that are soft, white with the purest of light
Why must it be that it’s one or the other
According to you he Should be your brother
Yet you look down, judge firmly pointing that finger
Do you really think that the anger should linger
Ringing your bells proclaiming your word is the truth
You scream that our way will harm our youth
Claiming yours is the only real path,
You will burn you cry, you will face the wrath
God a real killer now that don’t seem legit
It seems to me that harming others will surley do it
I follow my path, and I let you follow yours
Their the devil you scream, beginning your wars
Leave us to our peace, our freedoms if you will
We don’t mean no harm, its you that likes to kill
My goddess has spoken, her truth will be told
The light is in all things and is something to behold
Love, cherish each other with all you have inside
We can still join as one, there not a need to divide
Author's Notes: Raised as a Catholic, converted in my teens, I have been on both sides of the fence (like so many of us) . It scares me sometimes to know the hate and anger that some christians feel towards others, mainly because they themselves where misinformed growing up. In the same instance it pains me to know that they are supposed to be so loving and caring, but to this day start wars or hurt others in the name of their God.
We must do whatever it takes to educate the public before this goes (Yet again) too far in this country. We are slowly loosing are freedoms and its time we take a stand and stop being so passive agressive!! : )
