Beauty

She awakens with the orange sunrise upon her face,
The warmth of it's love drenching into her soul,
The wind from her morning window touching her body,
Where is beauty in the world you ask?
It's before your eyes, it is all around,
In the air that we breathe,
Flooding your senses,
Caressing our soul.
It is life.
This fragility that we strive so hopelessly to cling to.
This mystery that brings so much inner turmoil,
And so much revory and awe.
Such a gift with such a terrible promise of loss.
How does one not see in every moment?
What this is,
What every moment is-
Because every second you live is already written to history,
And we will fade away.
It's mornings like these that you wish to stop time,
But the wheel stops for no one.
It is all beauty.
Every moment of your life.
It is all that you have on Earth.
The Gift and the Loss.
