A Note from Mom

A Note From Mom
Last night I was trying to fall asleep, but all I could think about was my babies that aren't babies anymore. I miss that feeling -- like I was the best thing in the entire world.
I remember picnics in the living room -- they just thought that was the best. At night when I would tuck them in, we had a silly lil thing we did -- their lil faces would light up and they had smiles ear to ear and big belly laughs all the while saying "me next, mama, me next." It reminds me what a big hero moms are when their children are small. My heart was aching thinking about all of that and how much I love them still.
They are handsome young men, but every time I look at them, I still see those lil faces all lit up and laughing. In my heart, they will always be my babies.
I wonder sometimes if they think I failed them in anyway -- if they do, I just hope that they know I always did what I thought was right and I did the best that I could. I am very proud of all three of my
sons and the fact that I got the privilege of being the center of their little worlds as they were of mine at least for a lil while. Now, don't get me wrong, I know they still love me very much -- I guess I just miss them.
I miss you guys!
