Suffering from the pressure of my peers
Think I'll have a few more beers
When I got here, I thought I was doing all right
Now I'm drinking beer and chasing skirts all night
I got them beer drinkin skirt chasin blues
Now how honky-tonk is that.
Suffering from the pressure of my peers
Think I'll have a few more beers

I got them beer drinkin skirt chasin blues
Now how honky-tonk is that
Young girls in tiny lil skirts
Kinda makes me feel like an ole pervert
My lil wife, well she's been good to me
But right now, she's really not who I want to see
I got them beer drinking skirt chasin blues
Now how honky-tonk is that
I make my way around the bar
Listen to the band and hear some guitar
Through the smoke filled dance floor
I see my lil wife, and she's certainly not bored
She must have them beer drinkin cowboy chasin blues
Now how honky-tonk is that
How could my eyes have been so blind?
At home is where I should have been spending my time
Seeing all those man gathered around her
Made me see them legs in a whole new way
Now it’s my beer I'm drinkin and it’s her skirt I'm chasin
