When will I meet a girl who feels worthy of love

Each day that passes I see our child slipping further away
Each day that passes I see our house fall in to decay
Each day that passes I see our chances continue to fray
Each year that passes I see our life fade away, day by day
I have given up my god, so it does me no good to pray
I cling to hope, the hope that I will find her someday
I cling to the hope that she is real and she will come my way
I cling to the hope that she will steal my heart away
I cling to the hope that she can deal with being loved each and every day
If I had a god, this is what I would pray
You have given me a heart, pure and true
You have given me romance, enough for two
You have given me strength, too see me through
You have given me time, to dream of what I would do
With all you have given me, I have one more thing I must ask of you
Where is the one sent from above
Where is the one that will stand by me when push comes to shove
Where is the one who fits me like a glove
Where is the girl who feels worthy of my love
Is my life to remain incomplete or did you create such a women for me to meet
