Starting off in life

Starting off in life can either be really easy or really hard
My husband and I are both Wiccans. I am in El Paso awaiting the day when he gets back from Basic training and AIT school b/c he's enlisted in the US Army and he leaves January the 6th. I was sent here early so we could get used to being apart, but it is so hard not touching his rough face b/c he doesn't like to shave unless he's going somewhere. Not being around the one that you love is hard especially since we really haven't been seperated from eachother for more than a few hours in the past four years. I'm losing sleep more and more. My sadness overwhelms me when I look at my phone to see his face but knowing that I won't see it or touch it until late May, or early June. I've finally stopped the crying for now, but my depression remains. Sadness will fade where hope, anticipation, love and pride will grow. My love can cure it but he's working on starting off in life to make a life for us. For this I am proud to be his wife and love for my husband is a United States Army Soldier.
Author's Notes: I wrote this for my loving husband so that he knows even though we're apart that I still love him and always will for eternity
