Inner workings of my heart
by beaux
Age Group: Adult
whispering thru the trees,
and dancing on the sun,
howling at the moon,
i feel the power has begun,
rejecting what they say,
to follow my own path,
i must be true to myself,
even if they all laugh,
for what could they know,
of my difficult life,
fighting tooth and nail,
just to simply survive,
beaten and knocked down,
and discriminated against,
i try to stand my ground,
and put up a solid defence,
never will i waver,
and never shall i quit,
i am a warrior and soldier,
but most of all,
i am a witch!
