Nature's Beauty

The water on the pond gently kisses the shoreline, ever so quietly moving in direction of it's destiny. Not knowing where it is headed, but does it really matter so much? Is life about the destination, or is it the journey that matters such? A tree standing strong and silent, bent in the direction of the flowing current. For it may be reaching for something or other, and yet it may be just stretching or glancing with curiosity. The grass beneath it whispers of friendship; apart we are two, yet together we are but one (made up of two) . The shawdows of a bird off in the distance, flowing softly across the palette of the gentle breath of the current. A tree-like creature stands off in the mist, spiraling this way and that in an ambivilant fashion. The wind brushes in and out of its chasm, pleasantly pausing in awe of its delicate beauty. Amidst a plethora of friendly leaves and kneedles, a creature sits motionless, foreshawdowed by a group of inquisitive onlookers. Scattered throughout the distance are various offerings of nature. Some standing tall, enjoying the sun's gracious gift of warmth; with others nestled in the comfort of the shade. All of which have learned of the great importance, adapting and readapting themselves whenever necessary.
Author's Notes: I wrote this at Hathaway's Pond one sunny afternoon. My inspiration was atan all time high. It's one of my favorite poems.
