Timeless Seconds

We come along from here and there; thoughts abundant, willing to share. Like an inkblot on a single page; gifts of life, we seem to lose with age. We start with something more or less; with fascination & full of happiness. Much longing for a dream come true; could be me, could be you. Seeking passion everlasting: who's directing and who is casting? Does it matter what we play; a moonlit night, a rainy day? Must we look so far ahead; for to move on, we first must shed? Look back in life, ask some questions; don't be afraid, mistakes are lessons. A query, a dilemma, I think not; that winter's day, so very hot. For time is spent at your convenience; don't waste your time on making penance. For righteousness, behold us all; we choose to stand, if not we fall. A moment is but once and never again shall be; make the choice to be the one to choose to set you free!
Author's Notes: I wrote this shortly after my 30th birthday, after just recently returning home from a soul-searching mission.
