On this day one year before,
We said our goodbyes, then walked out the door
It seems like yesterday you were wiping my tears
Teaching me right from wrong thoughout my childhood years
You worked so very hard and cared so much
I love and miss the feelings of your touch
Now all I have is memories of you
Sometimes I am not sure what I should do
I miss you mom forever and always
I post your photos upon my hallways
I wanted to thank you for your strength you passed on to me,
For your love and for your honor
I'll be sure to to pass all these things down to my child
MY Daughter!
I love you highest to the sky.

Author's Notes: I wrote this poem May 1st 2005 Beltane . This was one year of my mothers passing. Remeber to always love and care for your family. You never know how long you have with them.
