A Fathers Love

I hear your cries and I run to you.
So young so innocent
I wonder how you will be when you are older
Will you love your daddy as you do now
Unconditionally no matter what I must do to protect you
I hear you cry and all I wish to do is chase your demons away
Demons grow over time
But so does a fathers love dear angel
I see you laying there so innocent
Wishing I could keep you this way
Knowing I cant
I will always be there you know little angel
When darkness falls and you are at your worse moment
I am there to carry you.
When you have joy and laughter
I will be there to laugh with you
You are my angel
You saved me from my darkness
I swear to always save you from yours
