Goddess of Spring

Age Group: Adult
I am the maiden of the Spring,
I walk across the grass,
To the fields it's green I bring,
Each tree buds as I pass.
I gently wash away the snow,
With showers, slow and kind,
Daffodils push up from below,
The tulips are close behind,
A warm breeze blows across the land,
Chasing away the winter chill,
And then with a sweep of my hand,
All the flowers have their fill.
Each blossom opens its petals wide,
In warm greeting to the sun,
It is the time to grow with pride,
For my season has just begun.
