Spirit Guides

Spirit Guides
I call the spirits for their help,
Each sacred in their way,
Their lessons there for anyone,
Who’ll listen to what they say.
The spirits are in everything,
In all I see and hear,
Coming to me when I ask,
No matter if they’re far or near.
Spirit of the Sun,
Shine warmly on my face,
Spirit of the Moon,
Fill me with light and grace.
Spirit of the Stars,
Twinkle bright in the night sky,
Spirits of the Elements,
Teach me the how and why.
Spirit of the Earth,
Be firm beneath my feet,
Spirit of the Fire,
Warm me with your heat.
Spirit of the Water,
Wash over me with your seas,
Spirit of the Air,
Whisper gently with your breeze.
Spirits of the Forest,
Where the cycle of life does flow,
Spirits of the Gardens,
Where things bloom bright and grow.
Spirits of the Trees,
With patience firm you stand,
Spirit of the Soil,
The nourishment of the land.
Spirits of all the animals,
No matter large or small,
Each has a lesson they will share,
All I must do is call.
Spirits of the birds that fly,
And Spirits of the stones,
The Spirit deep within my mind,
And within my very bones.
Spirits of all who have gone before,
And will come after I die,
Be with me and hold my hand,
And teach me how to fly.
Guide me on this path I walk,
And keep my purpose true,
Spirits fill my heart with joy,
And let me walk with you.
