The Witches Path- A Dedication

Age Group: Adult
The Moon has risen, so full and so round,
a circle is cast, good energies abound.
A space where purity and dedication can be found,
and the energy of the divine is all around.
Consecrated, then charged with pure emotion
attaining a common goal with so much devotion.
The quarters are called, each having their place,
coming together to create sacred space.
With the essence of spirit, we humbly embrace.
We come together, as one, within this sacred rite, honoring them both, by the flickering, candle's light.
The cakes and the ale are offered in praise,
good energy within, we hope we can raise.
The pride that we share in honor of our ways.
This service, so pure, to the Lord and the lady, divine,
each participant within, will do everything to shine!
They know their duties, and what they must do,
the conviction of their journey has always been true.
As the energies of the divine dwell within all of us, too.
We come together in love and in trust,
trusting each other, we know that we must,
in order to get our message out there, and loud,
that we walk the path of the Witches, and proud!!!
Author's Notes: This piece was written in dedication to The Witches Path, in January 2008. It is one of several pieces that have been written over this past year. We hope that you enjoy them as we post them. In love and light. we are forever in the service of the Lord and the lady.
