The Cross

The sins people suffer I take unto myself,
They put them on me with each form of abuse.
I walk the long road up the hill, while
Sinners throw stones and cast blame.
I’m not the one my mother wanted,
She told me how I was a mistake
I’m not the one they were hoping for
as I lay down on the cross
The memories that come in my body,
Make me feel each torment that happened,
I feel the pounding of the hammer as
Each nail is driven into my wrists and feet.
I cry out Mother, Jesus, please help me
As someone uses my body,
I cry out, My God! My God!
How can they make me suffer
I finally lay there, willing to die
Wanting it to be over with
I finally will myself to die and
Go to Hell to heal so I can save others from their sins.
I write my story and heal and tell of the abuse, hoping
To heal others and stop the torture that keeps happening
We are reborn, our wounds are real
Now others can believe in us.
Author's Notes: I sometimes equate Yeshua, or Jesus with Dionysus or the Horned One. And because of my abuse and its horrible consequences, I sometimes, well...maybe a lot compare myself to him and what he went through. The reason being I have Multiple Personality Disorder and I feel as if I'm not just saving myself, but my selves, and others who read of the abuse and all together WE can stop it and WE can heal.
