My mother led me to The Goddess, though she knew it not, and for that I will always be grateful
She led me with her warmth and strength, with the aspect of The Mother that she wears so comfortably every day.
My mother led me to The Goddess by example. By protesting an immoral war, by bringing a foster-child into our home so I could learn different colored skin does not mean different colored soul.
My mother led me to The Goddess by sharing her joy with me! Showing me her love of the sun, win and surf. Teaching me the freedom of abandonment in music and dance.
My mother has her faults and weaknesses, but they are less than mine and that is as it should be.
My mother led me to The Goddess, though she knew it not and for that I will thank and lover her forever.
