Bone Call

Giving light boundless in nature
ebbing, flowing, the foundling falters.
Grasping at branches and hope
skin pulls bone and earth breaks the fall.
Gentle spirits of magick must
whisper secrets, shadow, and wonder.
Calling from within our veins they sing:
" Oathbound and bloody you will stand before the dawn of time.
Given to the exacting measure of life you will fall and fail before you fly.
Let your soul free, give in to the endless sea of stars.
Scream, surrender, fight, forgive... transform again.
Rise! Rise! Rise phoenix and stretch thy wings.
For tomorrow holds the sacred warmth of hope."
