The Ruines around me

Though the skies are blue
The children laugh, hard and strong
The water is clam
I see something in the distance
Though the currents swirl
The fish swim, hard and fast
The sun breeches through the clouds
I walk down in Cozumel
The ruines here
Hold what was
And are sold to others
piece by piece
I walk down in Cozumel
Where they don't see, I do
The withering of one culture, the blending of another
The mistreat of a being, the hatrd for another
Is killing
the Ruines around me
As
I walk down in Cozumel
Author's Notes: Im on vacation right now and ive visited the Mayan ruines. And the first thing my younger sister asks is 'Where's the tram?" I think its pretty bad for word if the younger generation talk like that. anyhow email me if anyone wants to know anything and maybe to chat since im pretty bored. Mucho Gracis! :)
