My Endless Dance

I love to wear skirts
Cause when I dance they twirl about me
They hug ankles and hips
They sway with me as I swing to the beat
But what no one knows
Is that I dance all the time
I dance in the morning, during breakfast as well
I dance during lunch, in the bathroom so no one can tell
I dance in the evening, so I sleep good at night
But what no one knows
Is that dancing isn't always fun
It is sometimes a struggle
It is sometimes a strife
It sometimes gives me pain
But what no one knows is that I dance ever chance I have to make up for the bad, sad and mad
I dance in the moonlight, to smile at the stars
I dance in the sunlight, to sing with the birds
I dance in the dark
In hopes
That I can chase it away
Not put it away, since it will always be there
But chase it away for the time being
Author's Notes: I love to dance! It's fun! It's healthy! And I like to showoffmy moves every now and again. LOL :)
