A refuge for the real me

I like places that are loud
I like places where I can talk
I like places where I am noticed
But thats not the real me
The real me likes to meditate
The real me likes the smell of the ocean
The real me loves the nature so I can paint
But no one knows the real me
I lock that me away
I act like people want me to act
I rott away like that
But not all the time
I have a refuge
I have a place in my mind where I am me
I have a place where I am loved
But that place is in my mind
I cannot go there with anyone
I can only describe itto them
But they do not understand
That this refuge
Is a wide Valley
That leads to the sea
smelling ripely of salt and life and healing
In the Valley
there are flowers
of all colors
On the Hill there is a circle of Trees
The place where Hecate guides me
Where I find tranquilty
My refuge for the real me
Author's Notes: A lot of the day I spend in my imangination because I hate reality. I hate facing the reality of things, that why don't watch the news. I prefer to stick in my own little world. But sometimes I know I have to go out and face facts and I do. But I don't like it. Kinda funny, huh?
