Changing Her Face

Age Group: Adult
As darkness covers the skies, Mother Earth is asleep, yet still alive.
Snow falls on this night, covering the Mother in purest white.
Such a beautiful sight to see, that mother earth is being set free.
It won't be long now. I feel her stirring in the ground.
One last snow to quench her thirst, before she rises and gives rebirth.
A beautiful time this is indeed, cause what she does so do we.
Time to rid of all that is un-pure, whatever holds us back, it shall not endure.
Purifacation is in the wind.
Time to start our journey once again.
So be a part of the darkest nights, because soon it will be the time for light.
Author's Notes: Change is in the air. From dark to light. Can't wait. Feels like it has been a long dark half of the year.
