ANTICPATION
My feelings have been numb…for too long
Until today
Just the fact, that you got in touch with me
Is absolutely taking over me again
Making me feel the feelings
Of lust for you
Waiting on your reply….
Wondering
What it is that you wanted
Could it be?
Me?
Oh how I sit and wait
As if I were nothing more than
A lovesick schoolgirl, sitting by the phone
This is so very crazy and at the same time
So very real for me
So exciting to wait, to try to contemplate
The next move
Your move
Knowing that there is never enough time
Not in the day, the week
To be able to do all that I want
To you!
For you!
For it is my will to give you
Your will
Whatever that may be
At the moment
Other feelings also strike me
As if they are a blow to my soul
Scary and dark feelings
Do I seem silly, wanton, greedy?
Oh how I hope this is not true
I hope that I can be all for you
That you need, want, desire
But I know I can sometimes
Be my own worst enemy…
Letting all my feelings out
Like the proverbial
Cat out of the bag
And some people,
Do not appreciate the cat
Being out
But to feel so alive,
I have risked so much
For the first time in my entire life
I have made decisions that would never
have been made otherwise
Many others, who lusted for me
Wanted me, and pleaded for me
Tried to get to this magikal place
This spiritual and sacred depth
and they could not get in
except maybe in their dreams
as I would never let any one in
For it is not for the sake of loving
but for the sake of my will
for the sake of my soul!
How can all this be?
How can it be you?
Where did you come from and
Where do you want to go?
How do we handle this?
Ignore this?
Try to make it go away?
How do you put out a fire,
That is made up of what ours is?
There is no other element,
That could do this
No other element in this world
That could be strong enough to rule over fire!
Our fire!
Burning in me, ferociously!
Needing only to be tamed
By the likes of you
And needing only to be fueled
By my will and yours.
