Soul Mates Undone The ending to

by Patrick M.
 Age Group: Adult

Love Never Dies. But Nothing Last Forever. All Things Will Change. And our love did just that.
So blind, content, blissful, unaware were you.
So quite was I. Unhappiness, pain stirring inside. The decision you made were for me, for us, yes. But the right choice no.
Now our souls no longer intertwine. A love so great now Dead. My heart now cold.
How can the one who loved you so much hurt you so bad? Threaten your life, shoving you across a room after storming in it, have jail time hanging over your head, addictions, not taking care of the right things. Toy with your emotions your thoughts manipulate everything even with him not knowing he is doing it. So Blind. Sound Familiar Lover casue that is all bruned into my mind. That and much more you don't even know.
The one who wanted to build a world with me now destroys it. Was it truly love if the person could do that?
Now we talk and I have moved on. You still drowned yourself in your pain, filth, misery and the "should have, could have, would have." You're always saying sorry, you always have to say that. Stop and think. Even now that you lost me you do the same things. You didn't learn anything and it costs you me. You better open your eyes.
Then you say you want to see emotion from me; no no that you deserve to see it. Why should I have to pull up emotion that I have dealt with so you can see that I cared? Why should I sacrifice anything for you? My emotions, my well being, my state of mind No More.
I let you in. I trusted you and guess what? You get to see your mistakes and change. You see what you did wrong and what you could have had if you acted right. But what did I get?
I learned that once again a man destroys my heart destroys my trust and now I have to work and hope that others don't have to pay for your mistakes.
Funny, you told me that. Don't you remember how you hated paying for the guys before that hurt me so bad that it hurt us and now look what you did. Thanks
Author's Notes: Soul Mate yes he Was. As you see from the first pome I wrote "a lesson in love" but all things change. So there must be more then one soul mate. mabey instead of spliting in two our soul is shattered and we will find many pieces in many different people. If you're reading this I hope you see why I don't want to show you anything cause right now i don't want you to have to hurt like i do I know you are dealing with enough, but I am tired of holding it in. You can take this now I am done with it. But of couse i will never forget this pain cause you have scared me. As if i didn't have enough scars to remind me of my pain you added another that i will never forget.
