Emotions Strung so High

I am in Love
But why does our relationship seem like a joke?
Like I am a backup plan to your failures
Like you really don't love me at all
You're so distant at times
It's hard to tell what you want, what you're thinking
Can I be right about the backup plan?
Can you really only be from for yourself?
My emotions are so high strung
I feel as if I'm about to brust
I cannot tell what is the matter
I cannot cry in public
I will not let you drag down into an abyss
Like the last time
I am in Love
Are You?
