How, with all good things
The brilliance and the pneuma
Could this have been foretold?
My vigor at my fingertips
Animation within my reach
Dignity is bereaved of me
In a fated moments breach
My audacity has left me
With an unrelenting rhyme
Penniless, impoverished
Played out, depleted and impure
Disparaged and ashamed
I remit the last of my grandeur
