the life of a night rose
by Luxas Aureaum
Age Group: Adult
the black rose bled to red to learn of life and its pain and hope, and shaded blue to fill the world with scents and gathers and rows of white for it had turned in the night as easy as the grass grew greener and the water pure and thirst ran true, but to the rose of the ever changing season black was where it was bore, to it grew burgundy with smile and grace, and purple in the center at its place, but couldn't reach black to save its space..until one day a fire burned its edges and the heat tore through it to no end, and black it became as proud as was and the night clipped it clean, into the awaiting sky........
