To Remember with love

To Remember with Love…..
Glory to the God and Goddess,
The Divine, Creator of all that is!
We give our thanks to you, as we celebrate another year.
Another full turning, of the wheel of life.
As the wheel stops on Samhain, we take time,
Through rituals, prayer or meditation, to honor
All of those that came before us.
It is because of our ancestors that we are here!
Every thought…..Every action, made us possible.
Because of choices that they did or did not make,
Our lives became a reality!
It is the realization of our selves that drives us.
This realization compels us to keep seeking for our higher self.
But we must remember to seek without forgetting.
DO NOT FORGET, why we are here.
DO NOT FORGET, our family who has since passed on
to the other side. It is because of their living, that we are alive!
DO NOT FORGET, all previous ancestors before them,
Because they gave life to our families.
DO NOT FORGET, the Burning Times. People, both men and
Women, put to death because they believed in their Religion.
DO NOT FORGET, the many people like Matthew Shepard, who
are and have been, ridiculed and killed, just for loving someone.
Let us remember, each and every one of these people, with love.
Let us always remember, what our life is about.
Let us, in remembrance of all those that have left this world, learn from them.
Let us, in their teachings, learn to love.
REMEMBER all those who have died in war……
So that we may know Peace is the ONLY answer.
REMEMBER all those who died because of their religious beliefs….
So that we may be more tolerant of others and their Gods.
REMEMBER all of those who died because they chose the wrong person to love…
So that we may realize…..there is never a wrong love.
AND REMEMBER, as we evolve into the self that
we are meant to be,
that forgetting is not the answer.
And more importantly,
to REMEMBER WITH LOVE.,
is the key to our Higher Self.
