The world...is dreamily passing me by,
As i lie hear...massageing my small faults,
Into cankerous sores that ooze infectious lies of eternity.
The promises sour and rot,
But still try to convince they've held true to their word.
The mythological idea of love,
is but an empty cup...when you're dying of thirst,
it's...pleasure and pain,
Mashed into a feeling a masochist would kill for.
And all the while...
The devilishly beautiful butterflies,
That invade my stomach and seduce it into a sickening dance,
Are slowly drowning in the pesticide that festers within my soul...
Crawling in the shadows (that sway from wall to wall, )
i...evaporate...in my fictitious bliss,
And my vapors dance to the melodies of my nightmares,
Waltzing to the rhythm...Twirling with the harmonies...
Floating in a transparent existance,
That does not so closely resemble Hell.
Just to be struck,
Shot down by cupid's arrow,
And to fall...
To come crashing down into this agonizing...
Bit of Heaven I could share with you.
My world, though breifly bright,
Shadows-over once again,
And the cackling creature that sucks me dry of emotion,
Slithers back into my heart...
And nestles in a dark, damp corner.
I don't know what happened...
But i never used to feel this Sedated.
