Heart's Desire

I feel you in my fibre;
Each thought I try, each breath I take.
The steps I dance are from the Fire
I feel within; the moves I make
Are wholey given and taken, Beloved,
From impulse driven by motive pure.
My heart is moved with every whisper
Of your being, in love, secure.
Waves that crash upon the sea's shore
Sing the song of time's remorse.
Let me not appraise the moment,
Lest the whole of it be lost.
In truth, a single lover;
Are there really any others?
Can the joy of deep fullfillment
Know a breast less heart's desire?
I am yours, faithful lover,
Mother of my very Soul;
Let me suckle or be suckled.
Breath be in or out, we're one.
