You’re the light of my life, the burning fire in my soul
You make me feel incredibly happy, you make me feel whole
You’re my guide when I’m lost, you show me the way
You don’t ask me to pay any cost, and you tell me that everything is gonna be okay
The Light of My Life

When I was young I learned about you in books that I read
I learned about you when I studied mythology which I used to think was dead
But now I know that you’re as real as the myths in those pages
I know that you’re inside me, and everything else as I go through life’s stages
When I was young I used to pretend to be a witch, a wizard, a shaman oh my!
But now I can be one for real, and heal those tears that we cry
I can use magic to make this world a better, safer place
It can work miracles, help others feel better and help me save face
You carried me through the tough times when I could not walk or stand
You mended my heart when it was broken, and gave me wisdom to make me a better man
You filled my life with wonderful friends and family
Now I know that everyone is sacred, that everything has goodness and beauty
So don’t ever leave me, don’t ever go
Because I couldn’t live without you, don’t you know
Like a criminal who doesn’t have anyone to pay his bail
My heart would wither, my spirit would utterly fail
Merry meet, merry part, and blessed be
Now I am home again, now I am free
Goddess Bless, and bright blessings to all
For without the Goddess and The God, nothing would be at all
