You found the key,
When you weren’t even looking.
First I giggled and smiled
Then I wondered if it could be.
Would you want to keep this item.
An item so dear to me.
An item so easily broken.
You found the key,
When you weren’t even looking.
You found the key to my heart.
Now do you want to keep my fragile heart,
And hold it gently,
Never let it fall and shatter.
Or let it bleed and be torn.
And fall on the cold hard ground
You found the key,
When you weren’t even looking.
Now the choice is yours to make.
Keep it with love
Or tear it with pain.
But one hope is you’ll keep it and never let it fall.
