The Maiden
by Soaring
Age Group: Teen
The winds divide,
Parting to reveal a face,
Beautiful beyond belief.
Her eyes sparkle a deep blue,
Two oceans set in her pale, heart-shaped face.
Her mouth curves sensually,
Her nose dips delicately,
And her hair, her glossy curls,
Spill over her shoulders,
A gorgeous halo,
To frame such a face.
Her body is slender, but full,
A perfection so great it hurts the eyes,
And marks the soul eternally.
A sooft glow surrounds her,
Endearing in its warmth,
And innocence.
She knows nothing of the world.
She has yet to experience.
Her arms open wide,
Eager to embrace,
A world she does not understand.
In her innocence,
There is a certain naivity,
And with that,
Her innocence shall fall.
