There is a quiet darkly space recalls her call...
She spoke to me with voice quite unmistakable.
I understood her soulful mesage not at all.
It took some years before I knew that she was here.
I felt relief to feel her wings upon my thoughts;
What better friend to have than Raven in the wild?
I did not understand her message then, but now
It has come clear...all life is forfeit to her will,
For Life is always Death...that's how it works.
No moment keener felt than at it's very last.
With all my heart I dearly wish it were not so.
But, from my gut I know that Death must win.
With every gentlebreeze we feel upon the cheek,
With every soft embrace we welcome to our hearts,
With every firefly that lights our darkly space,
We must remember how we love each breath we take.
With every breath we take another soul does pass;
With every moment passed another creature lost.
For some, there will be none to ever follow.
For some, the darksome night will never end.
Absolute is a death which has no morning.
Such a morning brings a sorrow to all souls.
For the loss of life that cannot find new morning,
Is a loss we all must mourn without new hope.
