The Dark Singer rises

When the sun sets
The dark singer rises
Glorious forever and always
The darkness encroaches
Magick and beauty abound
Colors in the middle of the night
Are seen through his eyes
A roman god, almost perfection
The dark singer rises
He hunts and searches for her
His soul, His life, His love
Ebony blood specked eyes
See through everything searching for her
Black wings block out the moon
The dark singer rises
Animals unafraid go about their nightly routine
As he pass's unnoticed
In his mind he sings
A song so full of sorrow and loneliness
It cannot be contained
In her mind she hears his deep sorrowful voice
She knew he was what she had always waited for
She sang aloud harmonizing with his song singing hers
The dark singers rise as the sun sets
