Humble Fly

Mighty Artemis, let me be brave.
Let fear that strikes be set astray.
Oh, my Goddess, lift your bow;
Strike the breast our mighty foe.
Vengeful Goddess, let fly the shaft.
Undo the travesty of power amassed.
My timid cry is loosed with hope
That fervent prayers with destiny alope.
I hear the cry of bear and wolf,
Of every creature that speaks of woe.
We are all one; why don't you know?
Their voices echo and do not let go.
Mighty Artemis, let loose your rage;
Let fly the arrow with perfect eye.
Our enemy knows not of soul,
Worthy less of life than humble fly.
No son should die, nor daughter cry
Because evil greed of man commits crime.
Within the womb of womankind,
A power lives to down the tower of pride.
Mighty Artemis, my Goddess brave,
This humble warrior does promise air;
That for this life, a boone be given,
My son, my world, MotherEarth be spared.
My only plea, is that I give
This life I pledge without fire at end;
I am afraid of fire's pain,
Please let be otherwise, my trial to end.
