Hearth Of My Heart

Tread lightly now
my hearth of heart
glow the embers
a brand new start
A-trembling need
betwixt you and I
gathers a force
which neither denies
Depth of wonder
heaven's ecstasy
ebb flow'd wave
for you and for me
Magick wound
embracing us whole
for our world captured
those minutes we stole
Yet still outside wills
lives separate to go on
you the hearth of my heart
smouldering still and anon
Dreamswept I give
all to thee and more
when daylight breaks
I am as legends score
For loving you
I have no remorse
But regrets a-plenty
and tears 'til I'm hoarse
I feel such for you
this depth and this passion
a wonder that it not fades
as is usually the fashion
And still I have not
touched nor lingering felt
the finger of your hand
nor fragrance of you smelt
And try as I might
I can never let go
the hearth of my heart
from which my passion flows.....
