Wandering Soul

A touch lightly
with whispered
feathery caresses
gone
in shadows
of the beckoning light,
it is the purveyor
of youth's
fountain'd bounty,
who drinks long
with each gulp
as each discovery
blossoms
with new routes
of paths beaten....
A child of Moon
with a dragon-heart
raging against
unspoken treasures
lost in man's indifference,
he is a miner
of written word
and is the wizened bard
of ancient songs
lost, but not forgotten.
Touching hearts,
he moves on
to discover
his own.....
