Ya see, it was like this.......

And this is how
I have learned
to know peace
as I gathered
the shattered and
ripped fabrics
of my glass soul
and fired it up
in the furnace of my heart
to find that what I had
been searching for
had been within myself
all along -
all the joys and the pains
of the last twenty years
all tweaked into
one helluva woman;
who would've guessed
that I was my own soulmate???
And given that,
I sought out others
who had complimentary habits,
yet was face-to-face
with the greatest challenge
of them all -
blue steel on dark
wearing magick's heartbeat close..
...free will and I was gone...
Just a shadow of the dark once,
I bloomed with effervescence
and illumination
at his nurturing....
and found that he loves me....
