Impetuous youth,
you know only the wind
that rides on
the backs of dandelions
and traipses through
tunneled woods
and yet you would
but call yourself old....
*Soft Laughter*
A kiss borne home
and you give soft
hearts dew-smitten
tears...no laugh here
as I know that souls know
no age to love true..
But soar, my friend,
on those self-induced
spores...gathering speed
towards your destination
for the path that spreads
before you winds
and becomes
the unending spiral,
a dance of life
that was begun
when you became
as you are now,
impetuous youth!
Author's Notes: 4/8/05 - Happy Birthday to the old man within and the young man without.....a joyous celebration as your passages become you!
