White Tara

Age Group: Adult
Upon the flower,
She does sit,
A calming trust,
Within her mist.
Brilliant eyes,
Welcoming me,
Into her presence,
For what I may see.
A beauty of compassion,
With jewels of gold,
Lay upon her fair skin,
To what I am told.
Soothingly peaceful,
In a purifying way,
She is the goddess I seek,
On this very day.
Author's Notes: I love to write, and was inspired to write poems on the goddess. White Tara is the first of my goddess collection.
