Destruction

I was amongst the feral of agonies
my heart shredded by his design;
a prisoner of the haunting temptations
that he awakened with his touch
My passioned flames licked the night
untouched, cursed by the lover
who fed upon remains undaunted
as he betrayed the promise of ever
I dredged the caverns deep
unearthed the soulless disease
that claims the departed so remotely
to flay my flesh to ash
Curled in the charcoal’d shell,
I waited for the first strike of chord,
the ivory pinning that grace collides
upon the galaxy’s sway
For such revealed, I am Phoenix
rising from the ash of his desecration!
My cry: A choir of beckon so to seduce
and consume wicked the night of day
Fiercely, to shatter the cadence
of his invocation, I rise urgent
becoming the tempest of fury’s kiss
to soar above that which he deems me
Wild, I am, flaunting the lascivious
scorching nature of Woman, yet revealing the
pinnacles of passion to which I aspire,
my goals no longer elusive in hunt
For upon a fresh zephyr’s cooling wave
I will be meld by that which forged me
and set upon earthen silks, I am and will be,
once more, the fascination of steel in lace.
