Affliction

Offering no apology
you have become
my addiction so revealed;
passion’s throes
wrapping
the sensual fever
of us so recklessly.
Your lips to the flesh
of my parchment
you but bequeath
the ink-pour of hues
sublimely envisioned once
in lifetimes to come.
Pursued to the distraction
of my carnal gestures
undiscovered, this depth
has assaulted my dreams
so shattered, I can only
acquiesce to this “Affliction”.

Author's Notes: Written in the heat of a moment where Moon & Love & Spirituality & Poetry blended and became One. My own version of Sacredness, I guess, that I can only acquiesce to...willingly. (As we all do!)
