The fall

Age Group: Adult
The supports of your mind gave way and your soul
tumbled into the dark abyss of madness as what you
jokingly called your life crashed and burned like a sick
albatross put to the torch by a sadistic hand.
Falling through time and space you were ripped to
shreds by disembodied demons with vicious tongues
and malignant designs while your inner belief sreamed
out in the night that you simply were not enough.
The god of the gentiles laughed as you plummeted on
through the inky caldron of no shape, nor side, nor bottom
and the people that passed you by payed only enough
heed to steer you a wide birth due to there own ignorance
and fear.
'YOU RAPED MY SISTER' you screamed as your body
gyrated on a nonexistent point of vertigo and the pain of the fallen angels poured from your soul.
You raped my sister you wailed...
and then you sank into the night.
Author's Notes: This piece was inspired by the psychotic break of a good friend due to crystal meth abuse...Dennis, if you're still alive, I wish you well brother.
