Gossamer Raven

Whispering
in the surrender
of a rider’s passionate kiss
she weaves incantations
of moonlight and lace
on fragile midnight silks
escaping the sighs
of pleasure-bound syllables
etched into
the altar of Love
Fleeting in presence,
she is pressed on pages
healing wounds
undaunted and hungry
for the feather-touch,
her reflection met
in the canopy of star-showers
lost in the union
of destiny’s capture
She is midnight’s flight,
the passion met
on wing of souls
Her flight, immeasurable,
entwines the soul
and spirals into ecstasy
so sacred
that the worship
of She
is
