Spiral Dance

As the sky is the grasses
And the river the sea
Each part of the other
So you are to me
When the spring flowers blossom
And the trees spread their leaves
They dance to the rhythm
You’ve found within me
When the skies send soft showers
And the earth is made new
The rain beats the rhythm
I’m dancing with you
As the earth, she is turning
Dancing round the bright sun
We move in their rhythm
And life is begun
Author's Notes: After leaving the Witch's Ball last year, my lover and I journeyed together and this is the poem I wrote about our experience.
