A Start

The end to an era is the hardest to follow;
The beginning to one a frightening concept.
The wheel turns once more,
A moment in time changes,
And the karmic lessons are learned.
Gone is the pain from a mother unknown;
Heart-strings once tangled, now free.
A light seen in my own daughter's eyes
Gleams at me in unwavering love,
Giving hope to the future unseen.
Embracing and forgiving all;
My own evolution seen -
Bound to the land and to the People
A freedom of Spirit guides me
Upon my chosen path.
And I begin to dance.
