Rose-tinged sunrises
wrapped me in
the heat of
heart-glades
where you found me wandering
alone
Your touch glazed my torn heart
healing in whispers
the grey of regrets,
so quickening
an intoxicating sprinkle
of Love’s
feathered wing
My heartbeat,
soft in the surrender,
sings a duet
within your embrace
as you lay upon my brow
a circlet of daisies
crowned
in garnet-velvet promise
The joy of you
Eternal
I am,
in each frail line
Yours
