To My Special Valentine

It was so nice to see you
when you were driving by
Acting as though
you wouldn't catch my eye
Come on sweet thing
we share the same street
What do you think would happen
if we were to meet?
Eye to eye, toe to toe
you'll see my feelings start to show
About how I feel
and that it's all real
how I adore you
every day
Two so different
are still the same
We feel the same joy
and all the same pain
Let us have joy together
the most in the world
Joined in the sweetest pain as one
just a boy and a girl
Trying to be happy
every day of this life
Not needing to be lonely
with frustration and strife
Making music
Making love
Making happiness too
Are all the things that I need
to make happen with you
If you don't need me
then that's o.k.
I'm just glad I got to write this
that you hear what I say
But even if we never meet
and join our love as one
I need you to know how I feel
before our friendship's done
Peace, Love and Tranquility
are what I wish for you
No matter where our paths lead
I wish the best for you.
