The Baron of the Sea

Rocks of nature crash before thee
Seasoned hunter doth hunt rightly
Once more does your heart fall prey
To the baron of the sea.
Castle walls are high and mighty
Sword and shield do defend thee
Princess of my dark envy
Watch me in the rain.
Ride along, dear, beside me
Do not see the sun that rises
Fall upon the sea beneath thee
Fly away into the sky.
Crucify the one who loves thee
Seeming to hold back the world
Watch me die alone for love
It was you who put me there.
Baron am I not no longer
I give love to you with great care
For herein I am but monger
Ruptured and bleeding in dark lair.
Love has ended as season sheds
Leaves fall in choking grip of cold
I see your face at last
Let fall everlasting tears.
